The LogiCO2 Mk9 system is the most cost effective and flexible system on the market. It can easily be expanded with more sensors (up to 12 per Central Unit), Relays, Bluetooth and more. If LogiCO2 Communicators are being used, an unlimited amount of sensors can be installed and monitored online. As well as being the easiest and quickest to install, with plug-and-play connections. The system has a long life (MTBF 15 years) and is maintenance free, except for a simple yearly function control. The LogiCO2 Safety System can monitor four alarm levels ensuring that all the latest local and national safety codes concerning CO2 exposure are not exceeded. When Nitrogen is being used, an LogiCO2 Mk9 O2 detector can be added to the System, to protect staff from Oxygen depleting Nitrogen. Both the CO2 and O2 sensors have an automatic self-calibration function, ensuring correct measurements and safety. As well as Altitude Compensation, which insures that the sensors are measuring correctly at high altitude.

The CO2 sensors measure the important TWA value, meaning the average value of the CO2 level over 8 hours. This value, of 0.5% or 5000 ppm must not be exceeded, is statutory and must be followed in accordance with EU directives.
